BC Women Battle at ACC ChampionshipsPublished by
Junior Danielle Winslow took home 2nd place in the 3000-meter steeplechase. Her time, 10:09.02, was a new personal record. Winslow was also named to the All-ACC first team.The 4x100 relay team (Carly Daniel, Johanna Celli, Jacqueline Hannon, Robin Gross) ran a season best with a time of 47.54. The time places the group in the top-5 all-time at BC.The 4x400 relay team (Carly Daniel, Johanna Celli, Molly McCabe, and Robin Gross) set a new BC record in their event with a time of 3:42.95. The team finished 11th overall in the event.Junior Liv Westphal competed for the first time in the 10,000 meters at the ACC Outdoor Championships. She continued to impress with a 3rd place finish, crossing the line with a time of 33:42.03 and setting a new BC record in the 10,000 meters.Freshman Isabelle Kennedy caught the eye of many in her first appearance at the ACC Outdoors. Kennedy finished 5th in the 5000 meters with a time of 16:28.58.Senior Katherine O'Keefe put together an impressive performance in the 1500 meter preliminaries. Her tenth place finish with a time of 4:22.55 was a personal record and sent her to the finals.
